Q1. We are of the same generation, and we like the same things, so I feel a sense of closeness with you.What kind of fashion history have you followed?

同世代で好きなものが似ているなと勝手に親近感を感じております。どのようなファッション遍歴をたどりましたか？

A1. I seem to have had an obsession with clothes since I was in diapers."I won't go out unless I wear this denim!I used to tell my mother. LOL!
My favorite colors and styles have remained basically the same since I was a child.I like denim, accessories, hats, and shoes.If I like one item, I tend to buy several items in different colors or the same item.I also like high-label items, but I like to keep my style.

おむつ時代より洋服にこだわりがあったようでこのデニムでないと出掛けない！と母に言っていたようです。笑笑
幼少から好きなカラー・スタイルは基本かわっていないかもしれません。デニム・アクセサリー・帽子類・シューズは好きですね。ひとつのものが気に入ると色違いや同じものを何点か購入する傾向があります。ハイレーベルのものも好きですが、全部キメキメでなくはずしが好きですかね。

Q2. So you ran a store. What kind of store was it?

お店を経営されていたとお聞きしました。どのようなお店だったんですか？

A2. From 1995 to 2003, my best friend from high school and my mother and I ran a so-called "select store" on Harajuku Street (Tonchan Street). Three or four times a year, I would go to NYC by myself, with millions of cash in the inside pocket of my LEVIS jacket (riding the train as if I lived there), and visit street stores and outlets in the suburbs to buy Ralph Lauren, DoubleRL, GUCCI, HERMES, NIKE, TIFFANY, Keith Haring, and so on.

1995年~2003年まで原宿通り（とんちゃん通り）で高校時代の親友と母と3人で所謂【セレクトショップ】をやっていました。年に3~4回NYCに単身出向き、LEVISのジャケットの内ポケットに数百万へのCASHを忍ばせ（現地に住んでる風に電車に乗って）路面店や郊外のアウトレットを何か所がまわりRalph Lauren・DoubleRL・GUCCI・HERMES・NIKE・TIFFANY・Keith Haring　etc買い付けていました。

Q3. GOOD ROCK SPEED T-shirt are not just logo T-shirt, they have a point that resonates. They are nostalgic and remind me of the old American casual wear. Do you have any key points in your design?

GOOD ROCK SPEEDのＴシャツは単なるロゴＴではなく、ぐっと来るポイントがあります。懐かしさというか、昔のアメカジを思い出すというか。なにかデザイン企画する上でポイントはありますか？

A3. We are committed to being a NEW VINTAGE cut and sew brand that loves American casual wear, vintage, and pop culture, and expresses the "now" from our unique perspective.

アメカジやヴィンテージ、ポップカルチャーを愛し、独自の視点で「イマ」を表現するNEW VINTAGE（ニュービンテージ）なカットソーブランドであることがこだわりです。

Q4. What is your fashion policy?

ずばり須藤さんのファッションポリシーを教えてください。

A4. I'm not a big fan of the top-to-bottom look, so I like to add a little something out of the ordinary.

上から下までキメキメは苦手なので、なにかはずしを入れるのが好きです。

Q5. How can we create a style that is uniquely ours? Please give me some advice.

どうしたら自分らしいスタイルを作れるか？ アドバイスをお願いします。

A5. I don't know how to give advice, but... I guess I choose my clothes and accessories based on my TPO and who I'm meeting.

アドバイスなんておこがましくて...。TPOとどなたと会うかで洋服・アクセサリーなどを選んでいますかね。

Q6. In the future when you are older What kind of fashion do you want to enjoy?

年を重ねた未来にどのようなファッションを楽しみたいと考えていますか？

A6. The older I get, the more I find that things I used to think were good to wear, but now I find myself thinking, "Huh?" I want to have fun by adding or subtracting something.

年を重ねるごとに以前はこういう着こなしがいいと思ってきたものが、同じ着こなしでも「あれ？」と思うことが多くなってきたりして、何かをプラスしたり逆にマイナスにしたりして楽しみたいですね。
