僕が21歳で入ったエディフィスは、とにかく我の強いお店でした。根幹にフレンチシックの精神があって、古着とデザイナーズを組み合わせることなんて当たり前。そして、伝統的な洋服やベーシックなアイテムはアップデートやリミックスをしながら着続ける。そんな考え方をスタッフひとりひとりが持っていたように思います。
会社を離れてもう20年が経ちましたが、今も服づくりをする上ではそうした価値観が生きています。現代のエディフィスでそうしたベーシックのおもしろさを、もう一度伝えたくて〈BUREAU（ビューロー）〉というコレクションをつくりました。
派手ではないけど、スタイルの基礎になるような7型のアイテムです。
きっとそうした部分を大切にする人に大人の色気は宿ると、僕は信じています。
When I joined Édifice at the age of 21, they had a strong impression as a self-willed shop, rooted in their French-chic philosophy. Looking back on that, it seemed every staff was intentionally wearing traditional clothing and basic items by continuously updating and re-mixing them.
Although it's been 20 years since I left the company, that philosophy is still alive in me when I create my pieces. In the BUREAU collection, my goal was to revive the fun of basic items through the modern Édifice brand. While these 7 items from the collection are subtle, they can easily function as a solid base of styling. I believe this collection would resonate with seasoned customers who understand that refined sensuality is synonymous with having a sense of reverence for this philosophy.
MOCK NECK BORDER SHIRT
バスクシャツの代名詞的ブランドのアーカイブに実際にあったスタイルがこのマリンボーダーとモックネックの組み合わせ。経年変化も楽しみな分厚いコットンジャージー製。
This shirt is a combination of a marine border pattern and a mock neck shirt, revived from the archive of a prominent basque shirt brand. The thickness of the cotton jersey fabric is great for aging.
BROAD STITCH RIB HENLEY NECK
レイヤリングに最適なヘンリーネックタイプ。ニットやツイードジャケットのインナーとして、首元の表情に変化を付けて。もちろん1枚で着てもしっかりサマになる。
This henley neck provides a versatile variety for layering with sweaters, underneath tweed jackets when not worn alone.

Inspired by French polo shirts, a long-time staple among vintage lovers. This pique polo is defined by its crisp texture and the slightly reduced collar balance.
BROAD STITCH RIB CREW NECK
ジャストサイズで着たい、針抜きのコットンリブ生地を使ったカットソー。肩周りの生地が二重になった特殊なつくりは、フランス海軍のサープラスで実際に見られるディテール。
Made from broad stitched cotton rib fabric, this shirt is great for a fitted look. This special double-layered fabric used around the neck line has the same detailing as the French Navy surplus clothing.

エディフィスの過去の人気作、フライス地のカーディガンから着想を得た1着。針抜きのリブは悪目立ちせず、それでいて表情豊か。気軽に羽織れる、汎用性の高いプロダクト。
Inspired by the fraise stitch cardigan, Édifice's past popular item. The broad stitch ribs blend in well yet add texture to it. Versatile and perfect for throwing it on as well as dressing it up.
