An address book found on the street.
Its owner was a man named “Pierre D.”
Inspired by Sophie Calle’s The Address Book, a work in which she contacted the people listed in a found address book, met them in person, and collected their testimonies in an attempt to piece together a portrait of its owner.
This collection expands upon the enigmatic figure of Pierre D, imagining and interpreting him as a character suspended somewhere between reality and fiction.
